How many recipients per campaign?
From 500 / campaign on the Starter plan up to unlimited on Enterprise. The send rate is throttled inside WhatsApp's official rate limits to keep your number in good standing with Meta.
Do I need pre-approved templates?
For broadcast (no prior conversation) you need a Meta-approved template. Wassenger lets you submit templates from the console and stores them ready to use. For re-engagement within 24h of last message you can send freeform text.
Can I personalise messages per contact?
Yes. Use {{variables}} in your template that map to columns in your CSV or contact fields — name, order ID, custom tags, anything. Each recipient gets a personalised message.
What happens when someone replies?
Replies land in the shared inbox like any other WhatsApp conversation, with the campaign tag attached so you know context. Your team can take it from there or hand off to AI.
Does Wassenger handle opt-outs?
Yes. Recipients who reply STOP (or your custom opt-out keyword) get automatically excluded from future campaigns. The opt-out list is global per workspace.
