WhatsApp lets a business send any message for 24 hours after the customer’s last message. Before they write, and after those 24 hours, it has to be a template Meta has approved. In Zapier that’s Send Template Message, and your approved templates are listed in its Template field.

Do I need to know how to code?

Can a Zap message someone who hasn’t written to me?
Yes, with a template. WhatsApp lets a business send any message for 24 hours after the customer’s last message. To start a conversation, or after those 24 hours, use Send Template Message with a template Meta has approved, and only with people who agreed to hear from you.
Are the triggers instant?
Yes. Wassenger sends each event to Zapier as it happens, so a Zap doesn’t wait for Zapier to check for new data.
Can I send images, documents or locations?
Yes. Send Media Message sends an image, video, document or audio from a link or a file you uploaded to Wassenger. Send Location, Send Contacts and Send Reaction cover the rest.
Can I use more than one WhatsApp number?
Yes. Each action asks which of your numbers to send from, and each trigger can listen to one number or to all of them.
How do I disconnect Zapier?
Turn off your Zaps in Zapier: each one removes the webhook it created in Wassenger. Then delete the API key in Wassenger, under Developers, and Zapier can no longer use it.
