How to compare Wati and Wassenger pricing

Wassenger starts at $39.90 a month and Wati at $69, but the plans include different team sizes, campaign limits and API allowances. Compare the plan that supports your workflow, not only its starting price.

Included and additional users

Count the teammates who need access. Check included agents, additional users and any upgrade needed.

Usage allowances

Compare automation, AI, campaign and API limits. Include any applicable contact-based usage in your estimate.

Meta message fees

Add what Meta charges per message, by category and country. A subscription or trial does not make all template messages free.

Meta’s pricing page

Use the same team size, channels and messaging workload in both estimates. This page does not claim that one product is always cheaper.

Before you switch

Plan a move from Wati before disconnecting anything.

Number eligibility, data retention and integrations need separate checks. A trial does not automatically move your live number.

Check the connection first

Confirm ownership, permissions, number eligibility and your current API or Coexistence setup with support before disconnecting anything.

List what must be retained

Check contacts, labels, message history, templates and integrations separately. A number transfer does not guarantee that every type of data moves with it.

Test before a full switch

Use a suitable test setup to check a reply, a team handoff and one integration. Agree on a transition plan before changing your live number.

FAQ

Wassenger vs Wati: common questions

When is Wassenger a useful Wati alternative?
Consider it when WhatsApp is the channel your team needs to organise: shared chats, contact records, configured automation and API integrations. Test those tasks in the trial. If other messaging channels are essential, include them in the comparison before choosing.
Is Wassenger always cheaper than Wati?
Not for every team. On 26 October 2026 Wassenger Professional was $39.90 a month with 3 agents and Wati Growth $69 with 3 users, but the plans differ: Wati Growth includes 15,000 broadcasts a month and Wassenger Professional 10 campaigns of up to 500 recipients, and Flows start on Wassenger Business. Compare both for the same team and workload, and add Meta’s message fees.
Can I keep using the WhatsApp Business App?
Wati documents WhatsApp Coexistence, and Wassenger also offers Coexistence for eligible numbers. Eligibility and setup restrictions apply. Confirm the route for your number with support; keeping the Business App is not an exclusive Wassenger feature.
Can I move my number and chat history from Wati?
Check the number-transfer route and data retention separately. Confirm permissions, Coexistence restrictions, contacts, templates and message history before disconnecting the current service. Do not assume that everything transfers or that a switch will have no interruption.
How should I test the two platforms?
Use a test contact to start a chat, assign it to a teammate, add a private note and run one configured automation. Check the result, the handoff and the plan required. Use data you are allowed to process and agree a migration plan before changing your live connection.
